My Brothers and Sisters in Christ; today my message is a simple one that has confounded scholars and the learned for centuries. It is a message that divides families and nations, but is from God Himself, through his word in the bible, straight to your heart.
1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
God’s love for His children, his Saints, is unfathomable. It stretches beyond our meager ability to understand. Because of our transgressions, he sent His only begotten Son as a perfect sacrifice, so our sins will be cleansed and we can fellowship once again with our Creator. He wants everyone to love Him and come to Him, but he wants it freely. So out of love, he refuses to force us, letting those who wish, the ability to reject Him. How it must grieve His heart, as it would ours for a child to openly reject a parent. But for those who have accepted His offer of salvation, go to your prayer closet, read this verse and ponder on its mighty meaning. Let Him speak to your heart, as a loving Father to his child.
