A Message From Brother Beauregard from February '09

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thy own understanding

My Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus, we see this month a Proverb that is well known, but poorly obeyed. How simple it was, as a child, to not understand the world around us, the daily goings on, the decisions made concerning our welfare, and to be utterly trusting in out parents. As a child, we did not know how to operate a stove, but our food was prepared. We could not get ourselves to and from church or grandmothers or school, but transportation was provided. Our parents took our welfare upon themselves knowing we were babes and lacked understanding. It is the same with God.

As children of God, He asks us to trust in Him, the same as you trusted in others when you were a child. When we don’t understand why something is happening to us, he tells us to run to Him, trust Him as you would a beloved human father. For as our Heavenly Father, He has placed our welfare on Himself. We may not know why a circumstance has occurred, for we cannot see the finished plan. But we can be assured our Father in Heaven knows exactly what is going on and is in full control, for our welfare.

Peace Be with you, Brother Beauregard
