The deepest verse, in my opinion, in the New Testament is John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him would not perish, but have everlasting life.." (capitals mine)
There was no reason why he would love us, we disobey Him, turn our back on Him, deny Him, erase His name from buildings, refuse to allow children to learn about Him and teach He never exsisted. Then we put an ape as our grand father.
But He does love us. He continues to love us. And he offers open arms if we would just accept is love.
Why would you reject your Creator after knowing his feelings for you?
